During Covid I got into the habit of saying I love you to people I care about all the time.

Not so long ago, I was booking in work with a regular long-term client and as the conversation ended, I said thanks, bye, love you!

A bit of an awkward silence followed where the male client was not sure what to say. I burst out laughing to cover my embarrassment and tried to brush it aside.
